I am a PMP® and PMI-ACP® certified Project Management Professional and an Erickson Professional Coach (EPC), with over 20 years of experience in management, strategic communication, partnerships, diplomacy, and international development policy. My work is based on a holistic approach, innovative thinking, and value-based leadership, aiming not only to achieve efficiency and success but also to drive systemic and sustainable social and societal impact.
Currently, I serve as a Project Manager at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) in Georgia, where I lead programs and projects focused on democracy, international partnership, economic justice, youth, education, gender equality, social policy, and peacebuilding.
In parallel, I am a Board Member and Director of Sponsorship at the PMI Tbilisi, Georgia Chapter, where I facilitate the formation of a professional ecosystem, the creation of new partnership formats with representatives of various industries and companies, and the growing influence of the PMI community on public spheres. I also lead the Strategic Marketing and Partnerships direction at the ICF (International Coaching Federation) Georgia Chapter and serve as a member of the Board of Trustees. Additionally, I am the representative of the Gender Justice and Innovation Network (GIN) in Georgia.
I have been a member of PMI since 2022. Since then, I have been actively working on initiatives and projects based on PMI values and standards, raising awareness about them in society. For me, PMI is a community I consider myself a part of and feel a sense of belonging to; it is also a space where innovation, professionalism, diversity, strategic approaches, and people-oriented decisions create successful projects, shape a new generation of leaders, and build a better society. This is exactly what motivated me to join PMI: receiving and sharing knowledge in a value-based community, collaboration and support, development, and teamwork. And, of course, a friendly, fun, and pleasant environment!
To new project managers, I would advise: Be curious, think beyond project success, act differently, and always observe and consider the impact your project will have on human development and the transformation of society and the environment. Together we can!

Volunteering here offers not only professional development but also opportunities for personal growth. I am proud to be part of the Chapter and to contribute to the development of the project management community in Georgia.”
For me, the PMI Tbilisi, Georgia Chapter is the place where I discovered myself. And finally — every great journey begins with a single bold step.

1. Professional Information:
Work Experience: My career began 9 years ago when I worked as a Research Assistant at a research organization (I am omitting organization names; I can provide them if needed), after which I moved to the service and hospitality industry, where I spent 7 years in Director and other managerial positions. During this period, I simultaneously worked on independent projects as a Project Manager in the architecture and design field. For almost 2 years, I have been a Project Manager for donor-funded projects, engaging with both public and private sectors. Following my PMP certification, I serve as an Invited Lecturer at the Aviation University, teaching Project Management.
Certifications: PMP
Specialization: My work experience started in a research organization, which developed many skills; I then moved to the service and hospitality industry, where I encountered many innovations, interesting and distinct experiences, and diverse projects, allowing me to see where I wanted to be. Ultimately, I remained in projects and work with both public and private sectors.
Current Position: Project Manager, Management and Development Solution Hub (MDSH).
2. Connection with PMI:
Your Role at PMI Georgia: Director of Membership and Volunteer Engagement.
History of Engagement: I can say I have been with the Chapter since the day of its foundation. I remember the opening event when it was loudly announced that the PMI Tbilisi, Georgia Chapter already existed. Subsequently, I registered as a volunteer and was the Project Manager for one of the most interesting and large-scale projects. After that, I became a member of the Marketing team and was involved in various projects in different roles.
Contribution: In this role, together with the team, I strive to maximize member and volunteer engagement and satisfaction. That is why, last year and this year, we implemented various projects, though I would highlight a few: the campaign for new/newly certified members, the campaign for volunteers, “What? Where? When? for Project Managers,” the Volunteer Portfolio (as part of the program, together with the Marketing direction), and events within the framework of cooperation with partners.
3. Personal Touch:
Personal Phrase/Vision: For me, PMI and specifically the Tbilisi, Georgia Chapter is an environment that provides knowledge, motivation, and continuous novelty. A place with unlimited potential.
Motivation: Joining PMI revealed the exact path, and becoming closer to it convinced me that I am heading in the right direction. The healthy environment within the Chapter motivates me to give back and share the knowledge and emotions I have received.
Advice: If you have doubts about whether projects interest you, the Chapter will help you find the answer, give you knowledge, real practical experience based on standards, and here you will truly believe that Project Managers indeed have superpowers!
